Library
The Library is the hub of most intellectual and academic activities of the institute. FIT’s library is equipped with a large collection of books by Indian and foreign authors.
The students have at their disposal an extensive collection of over 8000 books catering to the areas of management , international business and computer science.
Besides this, periodicals & journals- both. Indian & Foreign –keep the students up- to-date with the latest in the field of information technology, management sciences & current affairs at large. Magazines, newspapers and information bulletins of world repute.
FIT has joined hands with AIMA and that has enriched its information base. This faculty helps our students to have direct access to various magazines, journals and write – ups by eminent persons at the AIMA Forum.
Our library through its collection and access to worldwide information resources provide high quality services to students, faculty members, and researchers for fulfilling the institute mission of being a place where knowledge is created and not just communicated.
Fit has a wide and comprehensive library which is fully automated and rich in all manners.

Cafetaria
At Forte Institute of Technology, mess is provided for its residents which offers variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental snacks, Vegetarian food and Non-Vegetarian meals on demand, to cater to the multiethnic tastes of the students.
The added facility of cafeteria is also functioning in the campus. Quality snacks,soft drinks, other beverages and lunch are served here at a subsidized rate, both to the students and staff members. |

Computer Lab
Computer Centre:
The IT infrastructure is the heart of any technical management institute. It should comprise of the best and latest Technology available so that students have hands in experience of state-of-art systems. The IT infrastructure as per the following details is available in the institute.
Computer Hardware:
An HP Prolaint server running windows 2003 server providing user authorization file print and database services to networked workstations.
Two Intel Pentium IV Processor based servers running Linux & windows XP enterprise acting as internal Gateway.
150 workstations with Intel Pentium IV processor.
CISCO 2500 and 2600 server routers for hands on experience of establishing wide area networks (WAN).
All the computers are multimedia ready and are networked to scanners & Printers.

Electronics Lab –
The Institute has advanced electronics Lab for Protocols of digital circuits, Logic gates, Adders, counters and Registers by using Digital Trainer Kits based on Intel 8085 and 8086 Micro Processors. Students are also trained on concept of system/ Socket/ Port programming, serial & parallel communication and handling various ports available on a PC.
Internet Facility –
At FIT, we provide extensive global exposure to our students through a dedicated ADSL 2+ Technology based broad brand Internet connection, which is available through out the day. Our students interact with other Management schools, there counter pats in other organization and use the internet as a platform for exchanging ideas. This facility is particularly useful to students as this helps them to prepare their presentations, dissertation and projects.
Faculty presentation Material, detail notes, frequently ask question (FAQ’s) are available on line in the lab to all the students at every point of time. This material is up- dated on a regular basis in order to keep pace with the rapid technological advancement. A student is exposed to the same training material in the theory as well in the lab. |
