BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY

B.Tech is a 4 Year full time degree course affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. This course has been approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, an apex body responsible for governing and regulating the entire technical education in India.

ELIGIBILITY
Admission to B. Tech. Programme for General Seat (Besides Management Quota) is through competitive Entrance-SEE-UP Seat Exam Conducted by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. It is held in April, for which advance notification is given in leading newspapers.
Admission to B. Tech. First year in 1st Semester will be made as per the rules prescribed by Academic Council of the U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.

Admission to B.Tech. First Year through Entrance Examination Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech. Programme must have passed 10+2 ( or Equivalent) examinations from a recognized Board/University with chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects at 10+2 level. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination or those who are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be subject to their clearing the qualifying examination.

Curriculum
The 4 year curriculum has been divided into 8 semesters and shall include lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars and projects, etc. in addition to industrial training and education tours.

Change of Branch
Change of branch may be allowed against the vacant seats
in first year, after the last date of admission to the B.Tech. 1st semester, on the basis of merit of entrance examination on vacant seat.
