Digital Club
The Digi Club at FIT was established in the year 2006 with the aim of creating highly skilled professionals in the field of Microcontroller Programming. The club activities are carried out in association with M/S T & C Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer company in the field of Microcontroller Programming so that students get inputs about skills in demand directly from the industry. Students will be readily absorbed by the companies because of the fact that they are fully employable and ready to work on real time projects.
The students participating in the club have developed various products of commercial value like over head water tank level indicator, and centralized electricity control system. The profit earned from the sale of above systems is distributed among club members in the form of scholarship. The club, since its inception, has won numerous awards at National level competitions held at prestigious places like Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
