Student Councelling
Counselling offers you understanding, a feeling of being listened to, valued and accepted in a non-judgmental way. There is no pressure on students and we at FIT Student Councelling Cell are not here to tell them what to do, instead, as counsellors we aim to help them find their own answers.
Student Counselling Services assists students with a variety of concerns. Students may benefit from personal counselling to discuss:
- Stress management
- Adjusting to College
- Life transitions and change
- Difficulties in relationships
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Anger
- Thoughts of suicide
- Eating and body image concerns
- Self-esteem
- Loss and grief
- Trauma
- Other feelings that cause discomfort
